Help4HospitalityUK – Terms & Conditions

By using this website or engaging in therapy with Help4HospitalityUK, you agree to the following terms.

1. About the Service

Help4HospitalityUK provides low-cost therapy for hospitality staff, delivered by:

Lance Curran
Integrative Transpersonal Psychotherapist
Registered Member MBACP

Sessions are offered in-person or online, depending on availability.

2. Session Fees

Help4HospitalityUK currently operates a pilot programme with a reduced fee.

  • Standard fee for pilot intake: £20–£30 per session

  • Payment is due at the time of session or within 24 hours

  • Missed sessions without 24 hours’ notice may be charged in full

Fees may change as the programme grows, and notice will be given in advance.

3. Appointment Policies

Cancellations & Missed Sessions

  • Please give 24 hours’ notice if cancelling

  • Late cancellations or no-shows may be charged the full session fee

  • Persistent cancellations may result in ending therapy

Timing

Sessions last 50 minutes unless otherwise agreed.

4. Confidentiality

All sessions are confidential except when:

  • There is a risk of serious harm to yourself or others

  • Safeguarding concerns arise

  • Terrorism or money-laundering disclosures are made

  • I am required by law to share information

  • Information is discussed anonymously with a supervisor

5. Online Sessions

If sessions are online:

  • You are responsible for ensuring privacy on your end

  • A stable internet connection is recommended

  • I cannot be held responsible for technical issues beyond my control

6. Therapeutic Boundaries

Therapy is a professional relationship.

  • No social, romantic, or financial relationship can be formed outside therapy

  • Communication outside sessions is limited to scheduling and practical matters

  • Therapy may be ended if boundaries are violated

7. Crisis Support

Help4HospitalityUK does not provide crisis or emergency services.

If you need urgent help, please contact:

  • Samaritans: 116 123

  • NHS 111 (option 2)

  • Your GP or local A&E department

8. Your Responsibilities

By engaging in therapy, you agree to:

  • Attend sessions consistently

  • Behave respectfully

  • Pay session fees on time

  • Provide accurate information relevant to your care

  • Let me know if your contact details change

9. Ending Therapy

You may end therapy at any time.
It is recommended to have at least one ending session to reflect and close safely.

I may end therapy if:

  • The work is no longer appropriate

  • You require specialist support

  • Boundaries or payment agreements are repeatedly broken

10. Liability

Therapy is not a substitute for medical treatment.
Help4HospitalityUK is not liable for decisions you make outside sessions.

11. Website Use

By using this website:

  • You agree not to misuse the site

  • You accept that website content is for information only

  • You acknowledge that website data may be stored via Squarespace’s secure system

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
